About Us

Not many venues can flit so effortlessly between wine bar, cocktail parlour, small plates restaurant and gig space, but here at Buyers Club, we think we do a pretty good job. Situated just off the beaten track of Liverpool’s burgeoning Hardman Street, Buyers Club plays host to regular garden parties, live music, BBQs and art exhibitions. Serving up passion without pretence, we’re a small, tight-knit team with a big thing for cocktails, craft beer, and all things vinyl. With a leaning towards natural, low-intervention and biodynamic wines, we also strive to show you just what the humble grape has to offer. Embracing a laid-back but well-informed approach to everything we do, we work hard to maintain a convivial vibe for the bon vivants of Liverpool and beyond.

And we make a pretty mean Bloody Mary while we’re at it, too.

Cheers,

Team Buyers

Drinks

With eight taps and a pretty enviable bottle collection on constant rotation, we pride ourselves on catering to ale-shy amateurs and craft beer connoisseurs alike. We’re not all about pilsners, porters and pale ales, though. We also have a growing selection of natural, organic and low-intervention wines guaranteed to tickle the taste buds of budding boozehounds and seasoned sommeliers in equal measure. Add to that our seasonally-inspired cocktail menu, our array of low ABV options and speciality coffee, and you have a solid line-up of post-work pick-me-ups.

Food

Not only do we have a rich menu of locally-sourced and lovingly-prepared small plates and artisanal cakes, our brand-new Buyers deli offers up a carefully-curated meat and cheese selection that pairs perfectly with our cocktails, craft beers and specialty wines. Or if you’re after something a little more substantial, our Sunday roast offers up a fully-fledged feast with all the trimmings. With vegan options also available, you don’t have to be a carnivore to enjoy it, either.

Garden

We know it’s what’s inside that counts, but we hope you’ll forgive us a little garden variety vanity. Our little garden doesn’t just play host to summer BBQs, big-dish parties and outdoor DJ events, it also serves as a humble home to some serious homegrown flora. From fresh peppermint mint leaves to lavender sprigs and even the odd passion flower, the Buyers garden provides the perfect backdrop for your morning coffee, your afternoon spritz and you’re evening cocktail.

Events

From garden parties, to live music events, to weekend BBQs, we work hard to keep things fresh and exciting here at Buyers Club. Boasting a strong roster of local DJs spinning everything from acid jazz to ambient hip hop, we pride ourselves on delivering the perfect soundtrack to your evening. Mono-Tone’s bi-monthly event, Jazz House sees deep house vinyl sessions accompanied by live music. Our regular Buyers Club Gallery, exhibits the latest and greatest in local and international fine art, illustration and photography. And on the last sunday of every month we join forces with local, independent wine merchants, R&H Fine Wines, to bring you our vinyl and natural wine fair, Winyl.
